HOW TO CARE FOR COLORED HAIR

Taking care of your hair after coloring is important to maintain the health and vibrancy of the new color. Here are some TLCtips for after you color.

1. Avoid washing your hair for at least 48 hours after coloring. This will allow the hair cuticles to seal properly and help the color last longer.

2. Choose a sulfate-free shampoo that's specifically formulated for colored hair. Sulfates can strip the hair of its natural oils and cause the color to fade more quickly.

3. Use a deep conditioner once a week to keep your hair moisturized and healthy. This will also help to keep the color from fading.

4. UV rays from the sun can cause your hair color to fade more quickly. Wear a hat or use a leave-in conditioner that contains UV filters to protect your hair from the sun.

5. Heat styling tools like flat irons, curling irons, and blow dryers can cause damage to your hair, which can make the color fade faster. Try to avoid using heat styling tools as much as possible, and when you do use them, use a heat protectant spray.

6. Washing your hair too often can strip your hair of its natural oils and cause the color to fade. Try to limit washing your hair to once a month.

7. Regular trims will help keep your hair healthy and prevent split ends, which can make your hair look dull and lifeless.

By following these TLCtips, you can help keep your hair looking vibrant and healthy after coloring.
